Leather paring machine
809 Leather paring machine
-- CowBoy serial leather crafting tools
Our leather paring machine is based on a tried and tested design and is simple to set up and operate. The leather is pulled between the anvil and fixed blade. By raising the anvil, thin cuts can be taken until the required thickness is achieved. It is an invaluable tool for quickly preparing inlays, onlays, labels and any thin leather pieces for repairs or half and quarter bindings. The machine has a large throat area to accommodate the pared leather when preparing larger pieces for full leather bindings. The anvil can also be adjusted to produce a feathered edge if required.
This is popular, essential and easy to use piece of hand craft tool for leather workers and bookbinders. It is easily adjustable for the thickness and angle desired. It allows the paring of leather to become a simple routine. Edge-paring and corners are a 'breeze' to undertake and as it is also so precise, preparing onlays and inlays become easy tasks. The machine is provided with 3 roller-cylinders of different widths - 4, 8 and 12mm to make it capable of paring even narrow pieces.
